On September 10, 2009, I posted about the movement of priority dates for October 2009 with the new allotment of visa numbers.  The post is here: http://immigrationchronicle.wordpress.com/2009/09/10/a-leap-forward-for-eb3-in-october/

In those two years, visas for the 3rd Employment Preference (worldwide) have moved 3.5 years — not bad.  Well, not bad if you are from anyplace other than India.  In those same 2 years, visas for Indian nationals moved a mere 15 months.  Congress really needs to do away with the per country caps on visas.  The wait for those from India is ridiculous.
